Ghana qualified for the Soccer World Cup finals for its first time in 2006. They were placed into Group E, alongside Italy, Czech Republic and USA. In a shock victory, Ghana beat the Czech Republic 2-0. Ghana were eliminated by Brazil 0-3 in the round of 16. |
