Botswana's aspirations to be a host city
Botswana's government has joined the bid to lure top teams participating in the Soccer World Cup 2010 to camp in the country. "We're working hard on our part to lure the English team to our shores. It is not easy sailing because we're competing with Mauritius to get the English team," Labour and Home Affairs Minister Moeng Pheto said in August 2006.
